The Ruger Mark III Series pistols come from a long line of 22 rimfire pistols originally invented by Bill Ruger over half a century ago. In that time there has been many variations and improvements, culminating in the MKIII series which incorporates all the wisdom gained from previous models along with a host of modern engineering refinements.
Known for its distinctive ‘Luger’ like profile, the internal cylindrical bolt design delivers higher accuracy potential than conventional moving slide designs by ensuring precision alignment of bolt and barrel. Designed primarily for varmint hunting, plinking and general leisure shooting, the Mark III Series pistols also make a very capable and affordable platform for rimfire target shooting.
